Woman Taken Into Custody Following Vehicle Rollover in Cobourg

A woman was taken into custody following a single vehicle rollover on Sunday, September 20, 2020.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. emergency services responded to the area of the Highway 401 eastbound on-ramp, just east of County Road 45 in Cobourg.

A vehicle was about to enter the lanes of Highway 401 when it rolled into the ditch and on its roof.

The lone occupant of the Volkswagon was taken into custody and transported to Northumberland OPP detachment.

The on-ramp was closed until the vehicle was removed.

No word on charges.
