Cobourg Lions Drive-In Concert Left People Wanting More

In entertainment, Local, Photo Gallery

It was an evening of great entertainment on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Cobourg Lions Community Centre.

A Drive-In Concert was held behind the Cobourg Lions Community Centre starting at 5 p.m.

Three bands starting with Greatest of Ease, followed by Storm the Palace and headlining were The Spirits entertained guests throughout the evening.

It was the Lions Club, “first live performance of the pandemic-era” and people in attendance enjoyed every minute of it.

Dianne Watkins MacPhee won the $150.00 50/50 and graciously donated it back to the Lions Club.

Because of COVID-19, there were strict regulations such as no dancing, but that didn’t stop a number of people from dancing in the chairs to the music.

At the end of the evening, numerous people were asking when the next Drive-In Concert would be held.
