Costly Day of Fishing On Rice Lake After Parking Illegally

In Local

It was an expensive day of fishing for a few people in Hamilton Township on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

Two vehicles were ticketed by a Hamilton Township firefighter at the Harwood Dock on Sunday afternoon.

One vehicle was parked in a fire route which the set fine can reach upwards of $175.00.

Another vehicle was parked in a no parking zone.

Hamilton Township reminds residents and visitors to only park in designated areas.

If there was an emergency and firefighters could not access water from the lake it could result in serious consequences.
