Cobourg Police – Cobourg Resident Charged With Theft and Breach of Release

On Thursday July 30th 2020 at approximately 11:55 AM, members of the Cobourg Police Service were dispatched to a business in the northwest area of Cobourg in relation to a shoplifter complaint.

Through investigation police officers identified the accused as Jordan CROSS, a 24 year-old male resident of Cobourg.

The accused was charged with the following offences:

1. Theft Under $5000 – Contrary to Section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

2. Possession Under $5000 – Contrary to Section 335(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

3. Fail to Comply with Probation – Contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
