Municipality of Brighton to Open Cooling Center from Tuesday July 7 to Friday July 10, 2020

The Municipality of Brighton will open the King Edward Park Community Center to allow residents to come in and cool down.

With record breaking temperatures forecast for this week, municipal staff will open the Community Center from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Tuesday to Friday. The Community Center will close from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm for cleaning purposes. With Covid-19 Pandemic precautions in place, visitors will be required to be screened, have a temperature check taken, and provide written contact information.

Residents are reminded that the splash pad and municipal parks are currently open for those who wish to remain outdoors.
