One Person Dies After Pickup Rolls Off Ramp in Port Hope

One person has died following a accident in Port Hope on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

Emergency services were called at approximately 2:30 p.m. to a person found underneath a pickup truck on Wellington Street.

Neighbours say a man had been working underneath his pickup for most of the day.

Around 2:30 p.m. a person spotted the man motionless and called 9-1-1.

It’s believed the pickup truck rolled off the ramp pinning the victim.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Port Hope Police are investigating.
