Cobourg Police – Female Arrested on Victoria Beach for Obstructing Peace Officer

On Saturday, the 4th day of July 2020, at approximately 2:15 p.m. Officers attended Victoria Park regarding a female who was reportedly observed walking in the area clearly posted as closed with visible signage indicating entry prohibited.

Officers located the female who was uncooperative with POLICE refusing to identify herself. As a result of subsequent POLICE investigation 32-year-old Tamara UGOLINI of Cobourg was charged with obstructing Peace Officer Contrary to Section 129(a) of the Criminal Code. Additionally, UGOLINI was charged with Enter Premise when Entry Prohibited contrary to Section 2(1)(a)(i) of the Trespass to Property Act.

UGOLINI was released from POLICE custody scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in August of 2020.
