Artist Creates Fantasy Unicorn Along The Beach Fence in Cobourg

In Community, Local

Local artist Jenny Duda has created her latest piece of beach art on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

Duda created a fantasy unicorn made from torn up t-shirts beside her first creation called heART.

“I made it for the children who come down to the park. Because they have to have a fantasy experience to imagine themselves having a joyful experience with this fence that is keeping them back from enjoying the beach or experiencing the water.”

Since making the first piece another family has come down and created a piece of artwork.

Duda worked on the unicorn for approximately five hours and had many people walking along the boardwalk complimenting her on the art.

“I think it’s great. I think it’s absolutely great,” said Patricia Pratt.

“It puts a smile on everybody’s face and it gives the kids a kick to see a unicorn.”
