Cobourg Council – DBIA Is Still At Work

In City Hall

By Cecilia Nasmith/Today’s Northumberland
The Downtown Improvement Area continues to work for the best Downtown Cobourg possible, Deputy Mayor Suzanne Seguin said at Monday’s meeting.

Seguin said that a walk-about is planned to have a look at such details as paver stones and street sweeping, as well as garbage cans that may need to be replaced. There is also some thought of going to permanent banners, as the cloth ones don’t seem to last.

“They are also looking at a new RFP for Christmas lights in the downtown,” she added.

Councillor Adam Bureau added that everyone should be on the lookout as of June 22 for the cross-promotional media campaign on Instagram.
