Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Failing to Comply with Release Order

On Wednesday, the 3rd day of June 2020, at approximately 2:15 am officers with the Cobourg Police Service conducted a traffic stop involving a motor vehicle travelling in the area of Elgin Street East at D’Arcy Street in the Town of Cobourg.

During the investigation, it was determined that one of the occupants was bound by a Release Order with a condition not to be in the company of the other occupant in the vehicle other than to attend court.

42-year-old Robert BREMNER, of Cobourg was charged with the following Offence:

Failing to comply with Release Order – Contrary to Section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code.

BREMNER was released from police custody on an Undertaking, scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in July of 2020.
