HKPR District Health Unit – Two Local COVID-19 Outbreaks Declared Over

The local public health unit today is providing an update on the COVID-19 outbreaks in its area.

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit today declared the following outbreaks over:

Empire Crossing Retirement Home – Port Hope, Ontario This outbreak was declared on May 16 after one asymptomatic resident tested positive for COVID-19 during enhanced surveillance testing.

Kawartha Lakes Retirement Residence – Bobcaygeon, Ontario This outbreak was declared on May 12 after one staff person tested positive for COVID-19 during enhanced surveillance testing.
