Cobourg Police – Breach Recognizance and CDSA Charges

On Friday May 15th 2020 Police were on general patrol and observed the accused, Megan BELLAMY a 33-year-old-female from the Town of Cobourg.

As a result of the investigation the accused was charged with the following offences:

1. Fail to Comply with Undertaking – Contrary to Section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

2. Possession of a Controlled Substance in Schedule III to with Psilocybin – Contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The accused was released on a promise to appear – officer in charge undertaking.
