Two People Taken To Hospital Following Motorcycle Collision North of Cobourg

In Police Blotter

One person was airlifted following a motorcycle collision on County Road 45 in Alnwick/Haldimand Township on April 6, 2020.

Emergency services were called to County Road 45, just north of County Road 22. A motorcycle was travelling south when it lost control.

The two occupants were taken to hospital with one of them believed to have been transported to a trauma centre in Toronto.

The cause of the collision is believed to have been the rear tire blowing suddenly. A view of the rear tire shows it was clearly worn.
