Police and Public Works Clear Debris From Near Cobourg Creek

Cobourg Police and Public Works have cleared a area just east of Cobourg Creek after numerous items were found on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

Pots, pans, clothing, blankets, knives, forks and a needle were found at the site between the CP and CN Rail tracks just west of William Street.

A number of suitcases were also found in the area.

There was also remnants of a recent fire.

When police arrived, they notified Public Works who would be clearing the area.

On March 26, 2020 two people were charged with trespassing after they were given several warnings during the week about camping near the CN Rail tracks.
