In Editor Choice, Police Blotter

A Port Hope Police cruiser got into a bit of a predicament on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

A Port Hope Police Constable was travelling on Peter Street when he turned into the former Wing Qing Buffet shortly before 1 p.m.

As he was backing up the front of the cruiser found a one metre sink hole and the vehicle became stuck.

A tow truck from Cobourg Auto Collision arrived on scene and removed the cruiser from the sink hole.

There appears to be no damage to the cruiser.
