Northumberland OPP – Drug Warrant Results In Seizure and Charges

On Saturday March 14, 2020, the Peterborough/Northumberland (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of front line members and the Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act warrant at a residence located in the village of Colborne.

Investigators seized approximately 126 grams of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and other drug trafficking related items. The street value of the seized drugs is worth approximately $17,500.

Kaitlyn GRUMET H (age 29) of Cramahe Township was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance For the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

Possession of a Schedule I Substance For the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs

Jomone Devontae WALKER (age 24) of Brampton, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin)

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs

Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000

Both accused were rel e ased and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on a future date.
