Video – Port Hope Council Hears from Concerned Citizens Regarding Potential Loss of Wood Lot

In City Hall, Local

Hundreds of people came out to the Port Hope Town Council meeting that was held at the Port Hope High School on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

The reason for the move by council was to accommodate people who wanted to speak up primarily concerning a wood lot that would be lost to a housing development.

Adults and children with signs stood outside the high school before the meeting started at 6:30 p.m.

A representative of development was also on hand to listen to concerns of the community regarding the development.
