Quinte West OPP – Mischief Investigation to Batawa Outdoor Ice Rink

On Sunday January 26, 2020, officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into a mischief investigation that occurred at the outdoor ice rink on Plant Street in Batawa.

On Saturday January 25, 2020, between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. a grey or beige pickup truck, with a customized exhaust, drove onto the ice and did a doughnut. As a result, the ice rink was damaged.

Any person with information regarding this offence should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122, or your nearest police authority.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
