Cobourg Police – Warrant Arrest

On Sunday January 26th, 2020 members of the Toronto Police Service arrested Luis CHACON, a 41-year-old male from Etobicoke, ON. on the strength of two outstanding warrants in the first instance held by the Cobourg Police Service.

The Cobourg Police Service were notified, and CHACON was charged with the following offences:
1) Traffick in a Schedule II Substance – Contrary to Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

2) Fail to Attend Court – Contrary to Section 145(2)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was released from custody on a Promise to Appear – Officer in Charge Undertaking with a future court date.
