In Upcoming Events

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 18th 2020 for the 31st Annual Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters/Ganaraska Forest Centre Conservation Dinner and Auction being held at the Cobourg Lion’s Community Centre.

For four decades, the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA) has been hosting this fundraiser in support of the outdoor education program at the Ganaraska Forest Centre.

This, being the last of this annual event, is sure to be one of the best!

The 31st annual will offer auction prizes ranging from beautiful paintings, to VIA rail trips, to unique artwork; over 50 fantastic raffles prizes; door prizes and special draws; a delicious meal put on by the Community Centre; and great company!

GRCA’s CAO/Secretary-Treasurer and Chair of the Dinner Committee, Linda Laliberte, anticipates a successful 2020 fundraising event, “2020 marks a new decade and brings along with it new ventures for the GRCA and the Ganaraska Forest Centre.

This is the 31st year that we have partnered with OFAH to run this event and we are thankful to all who attend and support the cause. The Ganaraska Forest Centre houses programs for over 9,000 students each year and holds many public programs for visitors of all ages from the local community and beyond.”

The fee to attend the annually sold-out fundraiser is $75.00 per person.

Tickets are available now through the GRCA, Conservation Dinner Committee Members, Cobourg Best Western, and online at shop.ganaraskaconservation.ca/annual-ofah-dinner. Early bird tickets are available until March 18th 2020 for your chance to win a prize.
