Cobourg Police – Weapons and Drug Offences

On Saturday January 25th 2020 Police were dispatched to an address in the downtown area of the Town of Cobourg, regarding a break and enter in progress.

Through investigation it was learned Aaron MCENTEE, a 37-year-old male from Cobourg was in possession of a small quantity of suspected cocaine, two prohibited knives and a set of brass knuckles.

Police arrested MCENTEE and charged him with:
1) Unauthorized possession of a Weapon – Contrary to Section 91(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada;

2) Unauthorized possession of a Weapon – Contrary to Section 91(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada;

3) Unauthorized possession of a Weapon – Contrary to Section 91(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada;

4) Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit Cocaine – Contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;

The accused was released from custody with a future court date.
