Warkworth Bulldogs Lose to Brighton Braves in LEO Midget Playoff Action

Warkworth Bulldogs lost 8-4 to the Brighton Braves in LEO playoff action at the Warkworth Community Centre on Friday, January 24, 2020.

Warkworth fought hard, but were behind for the entire game.

Scoring the first two goals for the Bulldogs was Nathan Greenly.

Greenly’s first goal was at 7:38 of the first period with assists by Riley Fairman and Patrick Hannigan.

Greenly scored the second goal with just 42 seconds left in the first period. The assist went to Kane McIvor.

Winston Ford scored the last two goals for the Bulldogs.

The first goal was unassisted at 4:05 of the second period.

And Ford scored the last goal for the Bulldogs at 14:42 of the third period with an assist by Kane McIvor.

Next playoff game for the Bulldogs is versus Lakefield on January 30 in Warkworth at 7 p.m.
