Breaking News – Serious Collision Closes County Road 2 Between Cobourg and Port Hope

Two people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on County Road 2 west of Cobourg at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

The collision happened west of Lovshin Road in Hamilton Township and it’s believed both vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.

One of the vehicles went into the ditch while the other stayed on the roadway.

It’s believed one person had to be extricated by Cobourg and Hamilton Township Fire Department.

No word on charges or condition.

Road was closed till approximately midnight for investigation.
