Port Hope Police Investigating Break-In At Port Hope High School

Port Hope Police are investigating a break and enter at Port Hope High School on Friday, December 6, 2019.

Police became aware of the break in after the Port Hope Fire Department were called to an automatic alarm at the high school at approximately 10:24 p.m.

Firefighters discovered that a fire extinguisher had been discharged throughout the halls of the school.

Upon arrival it’s believed the suspect/s entered through a door on the north side of the building and removed a fire extinguisher from one of the cabinets before discharging it throughout halls and outside the school.

Police are asking if anyone has any information about the break-in and mischief to call Port Hope Police or Crimestoppers.
