Quinte West OPP – Stunt and Impaired Driving Charges for a Brighton Man

On December 1, 2019 at approximately 1:40 a.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle to investigate a Stunt Driving offence on Dundas Street East in the City of Quinte West.

The investigation lead to the arrested of the driver, Jeffery INDEWEY, 29 years old of Brighton, Ontario, for impaired driving.

The accused was charged with:
Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
Race a Motor Vehicle – Stunt
Drive vehicle or boat with Cannabis readily available

The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice located in the city of Belleville on Dec 19, 2019.
