Breaking News – Snow Tire Comes Off Vehicle Strikes Another Vehicle North of Cobourg

Emergency services responded to a collision north of Cobourg on Saturday, November 9, 2019.

The front driver’s side tire of a southbound SUV came off while traveling on County Road 45 approximately three kilometres north of Highway 401 at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The wheel slammed into the front bumper of a vehicle traveling north.

Both vehicles managed to pull over.

The infant child and mother of the car that was hit, were assessed by paramedics.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.

The SUV just had snow tires put on the vehicle on Friday.

No word on charges.
