Cobourg Police – Male Facing Several Charges Including Breach of Recognizance

Male arrested
On the day of Nov 6th, 2019, Police observed a male known to them inside a motor vehicle on Division Street. At this time the male was observed to be breaching a condition of a recognizance. Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested 43 year old Patrick QUINLIN of Cobourg.

As a result of search incident to arrest, police located drug paraphernalia on QUINLIN’s person. Upon further Police investigation, QUINLIN was found to be breaching several other conditions of his probation. He was charged with the following

1. 2 Counts of Breach of Recognizance contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code

2. 4 counts of Breach of probation order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code

3. Fail to Comply with Order contrary to section 490.012.

QUINLIN was held in Police custody for a bail hearing.
