Cobourg Police – Female Arrested for Theft, Obstruct Police and Fail To Comply With Probation

On August 12th, 2019, at 5:18 pm, Cobourg Police responded to a report of theft from a local north end business.

A female suspect was arrested and charged accordingly at that time.

Through further police investigation, it was learned the female had provided false identification during that incident.

On October 28th, 2019 at 12:22 pm, the female was located by uniform members of the Cobourg Police Service in the Town of Cobourg.

She was identified as 27-year-old Taylar WOLTERS of Cobourg and was charged with the following:
1. Theft under $5000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code;
2. Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code;
3. Obstruct peace officer contrary to section 129(a) of the Criminal Code;
4. Fail to comply with probation order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code.

WOLTERS was held in custody for a bail hearing.
