Wind Waves And Water Add Up To Fun Along The Lakeshore In Cobourg

In Editor Choice, Weather

It was windy and there were lots of waves. For anyone that likes the water it was a perfect combination to head to Lake Ontario on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

That’s what close to 20 surfers, stand-up paddle boarders, kayakers and kite surfers did.

Talking to one person as he walked back out to the pier before jumping in he said it was the perfect day.

Like kids having fun on a summers day, it would be futile to tell any of them to get out. It looked like so much fun, a number of people and their children just stood and watched them from the east pier.

Cobourg is a town of many unique areas. The east pier is one of those unique areas where both the people in the water and the people on shore seemed to be having a good time on Wednesday.
