Cobourg Police – Arrest Warrant Fail to Attend Court/Possession of Schedule 1 Substance

On the 12th of October 2019, officers of the Cobourg Police were on general patrol in the area of King St E and Division St.
A male known to Police as 37 year old Ryan CONROY, from Cobourg, was observed and known to be wanted on a Warrant.

CONROY was arrested on the strength of the warrant and upon search a quantity of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine was located on him.

As a result of the police investigation, Ryan CONROY was charged with:
Fail to Attend Court contrary to section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code
Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.
CONROY was released from custody on a Promise to Appear.
