Northumberland County Plowing Match Looks For Perfect Furrow

The 35th annual Northumberland County Plowing Match was held on the farm of Dwayne and Shelly Boughens on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Hamilton Township.

Competitors were competing to qualify for next years plowing match and rural expo to be held in Kawartha Lakes.

On Saturday, there were antique tractors, tractor mouned plows, along with horse plowing, and walking plows working for the perfect furrow.

The property was at the corner on the north east side of Dale Road and County Road 28.
