Update – Motorcycle Driver’s Condition Upgraded To Stable Following Collision

The condition of the driver of a motorcycle that collided with a backhoe has been upgraded to stable condition.

The collision happened on October 9, 2019 shortly after 7 p.m. on Ganaraska Road east of County Road 28 in  the municipality of Port Hope.

A eastbound motorcycle collided a backhoe.  The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to a Toronto hospital in critical condition.

Northumberland OPP advise the condition has been upgraded to stable condition.

Technical Traffic Collision Investigators examined the scene following the collision.

The investigation is continuing and there have been no charged filed at this time.
