OPP Road Advisory – Lane Restrictions On Highway 401 For Removal of Tractor Trailer At Brighton

Northumberland OPP have issued a traffic advisory in relation to a tractor trailer that rolled down an embankment at County Road 30 at Brighton.

At approximately 4:13 a.m. a eastbound tractor trailer rolled down an embankment between the eastbound on and off-ramp of Highway 401 at County Road 30.

The OPP advisory states that a full closure of the Highway 401 eastbound off-ramp and lane 2 of Highway 401 eastbound will be closed at Brighton starting at 11 p.m. tonight (October 11, 2019) to facilitate removal of tractor trailer. The off-ramp will be closed to all vehicles however the eastbound on-ramp will NOT be affected.

This closure is expected to last until approximately 6 a.m.
