Three Vehicle Collision In Cobourg

A three vehicle collision in Cobourg sent one person to hospital on Monday, September 30, 2019.

Emergency services responded to the collision shortly after 4 p.m. on William Street, just north of University Avenue West.

A vehicle in the left lane was stopped, with another vehicle behind it when a third vehicle slammed into the other two.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and northbound traffic was re-routed for approximately 30-minutes.

Even though both northbound lanes of William Street were blocked with emergency vehicles, northbound traffic drove into oncoming lanes to go around the scene. Until they were educated by Cobourg Police.

No word on charges.
