Police Looking for Male Who Committed an Indecent Act in a Park

 

Investigators have identified the male and determined that there is no threat to public safety.

 

The male is a vulnerable adult who functions at the level of a 6-year-old and the behaviour exhibited was not an indecent act.

 

Investigators would like to thank the public for coming forward with information to further this case.

Police Looking for Male Who Committed an Indecent Act in a Park

 

Investigators are looking for a male who was seen committing an indecent act in a Bowmanville park earlier this week.

 

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at approximately 6:00 p.m., police were called to Scugog Street Neighbourhood Park in Bowmanville by a concerned citizen. A female had witnessed a male sitting in a swing and touching himself over his pants while watching children play at the park.

 

Police searched the area but did not locate him.

 

The suspect is described as: male, white, approximately 60 years old wearing khaki pants.
