Update – Northumberland OPP – Cocaine and Cash Seized During Warrant Execution In Cobourg

On Wednesday September 4th, 2019 members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) in conjunction with the Cobourg Police Service, with assistance from uniform members, executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence in the town Cobourg.

Investigators seized 57 grams of cocaine with a street value of $5,700, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, and other drug trafficking related items.

Pauline O’BRIEN (age 57) and Daniale O’BRIEN (age 38) both of Cobourg, Ontario were arrested and charged with:

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance –Cocaine

Pauline O’BRIEN was additionally charged with:

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on October 9th, 2019.
