Man Arrested for Assault and Breach Probation
1.A police investigation found a Cobourg man arrested for assault and breaching his probation on July 23, 2019 at approximately 9:50 pm. Jeffery O’Neill, 42-year-old Cobourg resident, was charged with the following offences:
Assault, contrary to section 266 of the criminal code
Fail to comply with probation order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the criminal code
O’Neill was released on a promise to appear and Officer In Charge undertaking with a court date in August.

 

Man Arrested for Theft
Cobourg police arrested a man on July 24, 2019 at approximately 12:45 am as part of an on-going police investigation. Charged with the following offences is 39-year-old Travis Langevin of Cobourg.
2 counts of unauthorized Use of Credit Card Data contrary to Section 342(3) of the Criminal Code
4 counts of possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) the Criminal Code
Langevin was released from police custody on a promise to appear and Officer in Charge undertaking with a court date in September.
