Peterborough County OPP Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Collision

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating after a serious motorcycle collision on County Road 507 approximately three kilometers north of County Road 36.

A male motorcyclist was located in the ditch by a member of the public. The male was pronounced deceased at scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

The collision occurred between 6:00pm on July 19, 2019 and 4:00pm on July 21, 2019. Anyone who has information regarding this collision is asked to contact Provincial Constable Paul Gilligan at 705-742-0401 or 1-888-310-1122.

 

The deceased has been identified as David RUSK (age 52) from Peterborough, Ontario.

The deceased was transported to The Provincial Forensic Pathology Unit at the Forensic Services and Coroners Complex in Toronto for a post mortem examination.
