Heavy rains early Wednesday morning on July 17, 2019 caused a problems in Cobourg and Port Hope.

In Cobourg, Albert Street was closed between First and Second Street because of heavy rain flooding the street.

At the Victoria Park Campground, numerous campers had to wake up to being surrounded by water.

Cobourg Beach became part of Lake Ontario.

In Port Hope, Mill Street South was closed when the onslaught of rain flooded over the road.

A building at the corner of Mill Street and Peter Street had its basement flooded which seems to happen a fair bit over the last year.
