UPDATE – No Charges Following Collision At Canadian Tire

Police have stated there are no charges following a horrific collision at the Canadian Tire store on Elgin Street on May 15, 2019.

Communications Coordinator Laurie Debattista stated to Today’s Northumberland, “no charges were laid for the Canadian Tire incident.”
At approximately 2 p.m. two vehicles collided on Rogers Road when one of the vehicles went by the front entrance of the store before crashing into the Garden Centre and coming to a stop.

One woman was hit be debris and later airlifted from Northumberland Hills Hospital.

At the time police stated they would be examining security video from the store.
