Breaking News – Durham Police – Pastor Charged With Sexual Assault

A pastor from a Toronto church has been charged with sexually assaulting a member of his congregation.

An adult male was being counseled by the pastor from Kingsway Community Life Centre in Toronto since 2016. For the past few months, the victim felt the accused was making sexual advances toward him. In March 2019, while at the accused’s home in Pickering, the victim was sexually assaulted by the male.

The victim attended West Division to report the incident and an investigation began.

Richard BROWN, age 48 of White Cedar Drive in Pickering, is charged with Sexual Assault. He was released on a Promise to Appear.
Investigators would like to ensure there are no other victims.
