Quinte West OPP – Armed Robberies in Quinte West

Male Arrested and Charged
Officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two separate robberies at a gas bar located on Dundas Street West in the city of Quinte West. The robberies occurred on January 13, 2019 and on January 16, 2019.
The investigation by the OPP Quinte West Detachment Crime Unit led to identifying the suspect observed in the security cameras resulting in an arrest warrant being issued.

On April 30, 2019 Michael LISK, 42 years old of no fixed address, was located and arrested in Colborne by the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad (R.O.P.E) with the assistance of the Community Street Crime Unit (C.S.C.U).
The accused is charged with:
Robbery with a weapon (2x counts)
Disguise with Intent (2x Counts)
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Drive Prohibited

The accused was held for a Bail Hearing and was scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in the city of Belleville on May 1, 2019.
