Cobourg Police – Female Arrested for Unauthorized Use of Credit Card

April 15th, 2019 police entered into an investigation regarding fraudulent use of a stolen credit card. Police were able to identify the suspect through surveillance footage. On April 21st, 2019 police arrested 32 year old Lindsey Turland for 3 counts of unauthorized use of credit card contrary to section 342 (1) (c) of the Criminal Code as well as 1 count of Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code. Lindsey Turland was released on a Promise to Appear.
