Head-On Collision North of Welcome Sends Four To Hospital

In Local

Emergency services responded to a head-on collision on County Road 10 north of Welcome on March 25, 2019 at approximately 9:30 a.m.
It appears a southbound vehicle crossed over the centre line and struck a northbound pickup head-on.
There was a dog, two small children and an adult in the pickup and there was only the driver in the car. All people were transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Northumberland OPP Constable Jeff Laporte said seatbelts and air bags definitely helped keep the people safe in the collision.
