One Person Taken To Hospital Following Collision In Port Hope

One person was taken to hospital following a collision in Port Hope on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

Shortly after 1 p.m. a northbound Jeep on Ontario collided with a southbound transport truck that was turning onto left onto Phillips Road.

There was heavy impact to both vehicles from the impact.

Northumberland OPP came upon the scene and stayed until Port Hope Police, Port Hope Fire Department and Northumberland County Paramedics arrived on scene.  Ministry of Transportation officers were also on scene.

The driver of the Jeep was taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital.
