Person Injured Following Snowmobile Rollover On Rice Lake

A man was taken to hospital with possible serious injuries following a snowmobile accident on Rice Lake on Saturday, February 16, 2019.
At approximately 3:37 p.m. a snowmobile was travelling north on Rice Lake after entering from Halstead Beach Road, east of Bewdley.
Approximately half-a-kilometre onto the ice the snowmobile may have hit a patch of snow causing the machine to flip tossing the man onto the ice.
Hamilton Township Fire Department went onto the ice and brought the victim to shore.
The man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
