(Cobourg, ON) February 8, 2019 – The Town of Cobourg’s Community Services Division is pleased to announce that The Blushing Brides, a Rolling Stones Tribute Band, will be performing live at the Cobourg Community Centre on Saturday, March 30. Tickets are on sale now!

Currently on their 40th Anniversary Tour, The Blushing Brides have been the world’s original tribute to The Rolling Stones since 1979, bringing fans a unique performance perspective on the music of the Stones. Far more daring then the now more subdued performances of the Stones, The ‘Brides’ continue to live up to the title, “The World’s Most Dangerous Tribute to the Music of The Rolling Stones”.

The band’s lineup includes singer Maurice Raymond, guitarist Desmond Leahy, bassist Glen Olive and keyboardist Dylan Heming. The combined stage presence, persona, and musical interpretations from The Blushing Brides promises to transform each performance into a memorable concert spectacle.

“I saw The Blushing Brides perform a few years ago and I can guarantee a high energy live performance that will have fans on their feet in no time,” said Dean Hustwick, Director of Community Services for The Town of Cobourg. “As an added bonus to concertgoers we are hosting a pre-concert party in the Grand Hall with both canteens serving special menu items.”

The main canteen and bar will be open prior to the show offering a variety of pub type food including specials for the evening like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, popcorn and more. To ensure that food is well distributed across the venue a secondary satellite canteen and bar will be open in Rotary Hall.

Box Office Ticket Information Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased for $25 + HST & Service Fee for general admission seating. To purchase tickets visit the Concert Hall at Victoria Hall webpage or call the Box Office at 905-372-2210.
