Exclusive – Cobourg Terminates Sweet Water Country Music Festival

Exclusive – The Sweet Water Country Music Festival that has been running for 16 years in Cobourg is history.
The first show for the year was scheduled for February 17, 2019 and throughout the year until December four other shows were scheduled.
It’s the first time in the 16-years there were five shows scheduled.
On the Concert Hall’s website it states that “Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo fame has headlined the annual Sweet Water County Music Festival.”
Staff produced and Cobourg garnered the profits from the event.
Communications Manager Ashley Purdy confirmed the news to Today’s Northumberland.
This years concert series was approximately 70% sold out and during the course of the concert series over 12,000 people have attended.
All the artists have been notified and Concert Hall staff alerted all ticket holders by phone and email on Monday.
