Northumberland OPP – Brighton Couple Charged With Theft

In July 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Northumberland Detachment responded to theft report from a volunteer organization located in the town of Brighton.

An extensive investigation conducted by the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit has resulted in two arrests.

Ricky Chapman, 50-years-old, and Suzanne Chapman, 50-years-old, both of Brighton, Ontario were arrested and charged with Theft Over $5,000 on January 24, 2019.

The pair were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brighton on March 5, 2019.
