Cobourg Police – Theft from Vehicle

On the 10 January, 2019 at approximately 0828 hours, Police were called to a private residence in regards to the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle. Further information provided was that the victim’s credit card had been used at a downtown business.

At approximately 1625 hours, Police were called to the same downtown business where the suspect was attempting to use the victim’s credit card again. Police attended and arrested 44 year old Thomas PALMISANO for Theft of a Credit Card, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.00. Police further determined that the Cobourg Police Service had an outstanding warrant for PALMISANO as well.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and an Undertaking with Conditions with a future court date.
